Since 1986 the company has focused on added value opportunities locating properties in real estate cycles that attempt to provide higher returns for the investment.

Douglas Hunter, principal of the company, is a seasoned real estate developer having entered the commercial real estate business in 1974 with international developer Gerald D. Hines Interests. Six years later, Mr. Hunter joined Allen Properties Development Co. serving for 8 years as lead developer and partner for numerous industrial warehousing build to suit and speculative projects in Texas. Mr. Hunter has represented a private equity fund since 1989, which has been involved in the acquisition and development of mostly value ad opportunities inclusive of office buildings, multifamily assets, retail facilities and land for single family lot development(s). This endeavor has exceeded over $500M in investments. Mr. Hunter has also acted as managing general partner for several acquisitions and developments and serves as co-developer and private investor on many projects today.

Mr. Hunter received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Texas State University and an MBA from The University of Texas, McCombs School of Business in Austin, Texas. Mr. Hunter holds a brokers license from the Texas Real Estate Commission.
